Meet KP Body Scrub & Mask

KP, “chicken skin,” or “strawberry legs”—whatever name you use, keratosis pilaris is a very common skin condition characterized by the buildup of keratin around hair follicles. Instead of shedding normally, keratin can accumulate within the follicle, leading to small bumps, rough texture, and visible redness. Regular exfoliation and hydration can help improve the feel and appearance of KP-prone skin. That’s where our KP Body Scrub & Mask comes in.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND IT…

A Multi-Acid, Multi-Action Treatment

Our KP Body Scrub & Mask features a rich, creamy texture powered by a blend of 8% glycolic acid, 0.5% salicylic acid, 2% polyhydroxy acids (PHAs), and physical exfoliants designed to support smoother, more even-looking skin.
Here’s how the key components work together:
Chemical Exfoliants
• Glycolic Acid (AHA):
The smallest alpha hydroxy acid, known for effectively softening the look of rough surface buildup and promoting smoother-feeling skin.
• Salicylic Acid (BHA):
Oil-soluble and less pH-dependent, it can work within the look of pore congestion to help clarify and refine texture.
• Polyhydroxy Acids (PHAs):
Larger-molecule sugar acids with multiple hydroxyl groups that gently exfoliate the skin’s surface while attracting moisture, making them a great option for sensitive or dry skin.
Physical Exfoliants
• Jojoba Esters & Finely Milled Pumice:
These gentle buffing agents help lift and remove dead skin cells as the chemical exfoliants soften them, creating a balanced dual-exfoliation effect.
Together, this combination helps reveal smoother, more even-looking skin while supporting improved texture, tone, and radiance.

This formula does more than just buff—it also works as an in-shower mask. When left on briefly before rinsing, the acids have time to work on the skin’s surface, enhancing the overall exfoliating effect. Formulated at an acidic pH of 4.25–4.7, the scrub and mask helps optimize exfoliation while respecting the skin’s natural balance.
How to Use
• Apply to damp skin and massage gently.
• Leave on for 1–2 minutes for mask benefits, then rinse. • Use 1–2 times per week, and no more than once daily.
• A patch test is advised, especially for sensitive skin.
• Mild tingling or temporary redness may occur.
• Because skin can become drier in colder months, follow with a moisturizer to maintain hydration.
